An evening at Jacques

Last week we were invited to the Jacques Townhouse, which was an absolute delight. After the huge success of last year, the very clever people at Jacques teamed up with creative director David Carter (genius behind the beautiful 40winks hotel) to once again transform a London townhouse into a walker-esque dream.

It’s not often you get to spend an evening in a Tim Walker photograph!

On arrival we were greeted by a dandy concierge, who took our coats and called us ‘Madame’. Brilliantly faulty towers! Jacques have transformed the townhouse over 2 floors, which include the beauty parlour, wardrobe of wonders, enchanted garden and of course the bar. Like last year we were presented with beautiful golden keys which acted as currency for drinks throughout the evening.

We met Shini from Park and Cube and spent a lovely time discussing cat cafes.

Crafternoon!

Lucinda had the most beautiful 'do and we both posed for Japanese Vogue photographer Terence Andrew Webb (slightly under the influence by his point!)

Thank you to Jacques for having us and the lovely Zarah at Exposure. Here are some beautiful photographs of the townhouse taken by someone professional and not with a camera stolen from work!

  1. Ah wonderful shots! Especially love that one of Lucinda's hair getting done and the pic of you two! (You should've nicked that sweater Cassia haha)

So nice to meet you both!
